Ridiculously low fares and onboard credit? Mediterranean cruise and transatlantic voyage? Yes, you can have it all for a limited time with a 13-night cruise on Norwegian Gem. You’ll cruise from Barcelona to Spain, France and Italy, then cross the pond to New York. Rates start at $599 per person (just $46 per night) and include $150 to $600 in onboard credit (amount varies based on cabin category), dinner for two in Cagney’s Steakhose, and dinner for two in La Cucuana Italian Restaurant. The third and fourth passengers in a cabin can sail from $99 per person. Only 50 cabins are available for this offer, so book soon — and no later than February 2.

Combine a Pacific Coast cruise with an exploration of Alaska on a 13-night cruise onboard Celebrity Mercury. Or, splurge on an outside or higher cabin (fares start from an affordable $949) and also receive prepaid gratuities.

Book select Royal Caribbean cruises by February 28, and you’ll find reduced rates and pay only half the regular deposit amount. Fares start at $209 per person for the shortest and cheapest cruises; as always, prices will vary by itinerary and departure date. While a reduced deposit is unlikely to be a deal-breaker as you decide which cruise to book (or whether to book one at all), it gives you the flexibility to put a small amount of money down to lock in low rates, and decide later whether you can afford the final deposit.

If long hours on a plane or high airfares have you shying away from flying to Europe, might you consider cruising there? Cunard is offering a 23-night Western Mediterranean cruise on Queen Mary 2, sailing roundtrip from New York. The itinerary is essentially a cruise to Portugal, Italy, Monaco and Spain bookended by two transatlantic voyages between New York and Southampton. Fares start at $2,280 per person for small inside cabins, and include $50 per person in onboard credit and chocolate-covered strawberries in your cabin. The price is quite reasonable — only $99 per person — so you might want to consider upgrading to roomier digs.

Sail from New York straight to the Caribbean on a nine-night cruise aboard Caribbean Princess. The ship, which debuted Princess’ Movies Under the Stars concept, offers multiple dining options (including the casual Café Caribe and a very romantic dinner served on your private balcony), the Skywalkers top-of-ship disco and the decadent Lotus Spa. Fares start at $884 per person, and include up to $375 per person (a maximum of $750 per cabin) shipboard credit when you book by February 20. Plus, to book your cruise, you only have to put down a deposit of $100 per person.

It used to be that an inside cabin on one of Queen Mary 2’s transatlantic voyages was a steal at $999. But prices have been dropping, and now you can book this iconic itinerary for as low as $760 per person for an April sailing. That’s $127 a night for a small inside stateroom — you can pay more to upgrade to a bigger cabin, or keep the cash in your pocket and spend most of your onboard time outside your room, exploring QM2’s multiple restaurants, Canyon Ranch Spa, planetarium, Royal Court Theatre, library and many lounges.

Take an off-the-beaten-path journey through Central America and the Panama Canal with a nine-night cruise on Cruise West’s Pacific Explorer. You’ll visit several national parks and conservations areas, and see volcanoes, wildlife and cloud forests. The focus here is on learning about and experiencing the destination — not on onboard amenities. Fares start at $3,084 per person.
